Application Architect/ Sr Engineer- FileNet

Long Term Contract

Chicago, IL- 3 days hybrid

Our direct client is in need of a FileNet Architect who will work on development projects and can also provide L3 support for Enterprise Document Management/Content Services applications (e.g. IBM FileNet, IBM Case Manager, IBM BAW, Kofax Total Agility).

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• 10 years of Software Development experience

• Experience with project feasibility, requirements definition, design, testing and project delivery.

• Experience with both Agile and traditional Waterfall project methodologies.

Qualifications:

• IBM FileNet administration, development and configuration.

• Extensive experience and working knowledge on IBM FileNet, Case Manager, Content Navigator, IBM Enterprise Records.

• Extensive experience working with IBM's Case Manager and BAW products.

• Experience in patching/upgrading FileNet

• Extensive experience developing applications using Java, JavaScript, SQL

• Extensive experience on a variety of application servers like WebLogic, WebSphere and Tomcat

• Extensive experience with Oracle, MS SQL databases

• Experience with Linux, Unix, Windows servers

• Ability to perform root cause analysis and provide fixes for issues reported in production environment

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Strong system administration, programming, analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Able to provide direction and technical advice to other team members

• Prior extensive experience working with IBM's Case Manager and BAW products

• Identify and understand issues and draw conclusions/resolutions

• IBM FileNet administration, development and configuration

• Patching/upgrading FileNet

• Developing applications using Java, JavaScript, SQL

• Perform root cause analysis and provide fixes for issues reported in production environment
