Technical Application Support Engineer – L3 Trade Application Production Support (Financial Services)
Hybrid : No – On-site role - Downtown Chicago - walking distance from Metra station
We are seeking a Technical Application Support Engineer – L3 Trade Application Production Support contract position with a leading investment bank in downtown Chicago. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience, ideally in a development role transitioning to application support, and a strong understanding of Java SQL Unix shell scripting , and PCF . Key Responsibilities :
- Provide L3 production support for critical applications, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Java SQL , and Unix shell scripting
- Support and maintain PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) environments for various applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of production systems.
- Work with traders and other stakeholders to ensure applications are performing to the highest standards.
- Handle high-pressure situations, manage incidents, and prioritize tasks in a production environment.
Must-Have Qualifications :
