Product Owner – Data & Analytics | Asset Management - CONTRACT TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY!!
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid Work Schedule on Site)
Join the corporate team of a leading financial services firm as a Product Owner supporting high-impact Data & Analytics products for our Asset Management division. This is a hybrid role based in downtown Chicago, requiring 3 days per week onsite.
We're looking for an experienced product leader who thrives in an agile environment, understands the intricacies of asset management data, and can drive strategic delivery across multiple teams.
Product Owner – Data & Analytics | Asset Management - Responsibilities:
🔹 Product Ownership
- Define and communicate product roadmap, backlog, and sprint plans
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog in alignment with business goals
- Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and user stories
- Identify and mitigate risks to product delivery
- Ensure effective team utilization and alignment with tech/product leadership
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the main point of contact for the data & analytics teams
- Maintain regular, clear communication with stakeholders across the business
- Collect, synthesize, and incorporate stakeholder feedback into the product lifecycle
- Drive rollout strategies and change management for new features and enhancements
Domain Expertise
- Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership in asset management data
- Design and implement data-driven solutions aligned to business outcomes
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Lead testing strategies to ensure high-quality delivery
Product Owner – Data & Analytics | Asset Management - Requirements:
- 10 years of experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager in data and analytics
- Deep understanding of asset management data and financial services
- Proven experience in agile environments
- Exceptional communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
