Job Description
- Leads and/or assists in providing lessons and activities.
- Supervises children during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Teaches positive interactions and maintains discipline using PCCS CARES Values, School rules and procedures.
- Maintains and organizes supplies for programs and students.
- Maintains a good relationship with the children, parents, and staff to ensure a safe and successful program.
- Supports student learning as needed.
- Aids in the instruction of students in the principles of responsible citizenship and other subject matters as needed.
- Maintains control of and accounts for the whereabouts and safety of children.
- Ensures children depart with an authorized person.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Illinois Elementary (Type 03) or Secondary (Type 09) OR Substitute Certificate
- Be mature, responsible, energetic and nurturing with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Subject to fingerprinting and must pass a criminal background check.
- Experience in a school-age care setting is a plus

Salary and Benefits
Base salary: Starts at $18.50 hourly (depending on experience & qualifications).
