Tire Technician
We are seeking full time, truck tire technician. As a tire technician, your main duty includes the removal and repair of tires. It is also a tire technician’s duty to help maintain the cleanliness and order of the tire and service shop. Ideally, experience in the tire and automotive industry is preferred but we are willing to train.
Position is responsible for performing repair, maintenance, and replacement of truck tires.

Responsibilities
- Properly dismount and remount tires and wheels securely on vehicle.
- Operate all related equipment and tools as trained.
- Prepares tires for installation; mounts and dismounts tires on rims and vehicles; and fills tires to the proper air pressure.
- Inspects and tests tires to ensure conformance to standards.
- Examines and probes damaged, defective, or flat tires to determine the extent of damage and the feasibility of repair; and recommends findings to shop management.
- Practices safety methods in the operation of equipment and performance of duties.
- Safe operation of company vehicles, including compliance with speed and traffic regulations.
- Insure truck is adequately supplied with all necessary supplies before departing shop to handle service calls.
Job Requirements
- Lift a minimum of seventy-five (75) pounds.
- Perform repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry.
- Frequent bending, twisting and lifting.
- Make accurate and decisive decisions regarding types of repairs necessary.
- Driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Operate independently and as a team member.
Compensation
The wage is DOE and includes a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, vacation, and 401k.
Employment is contingent upon a successful background check and drug screen.
