Job Summary
This position oversees the operations of the Revenue Cycle, ensuring timely and accurate billing of services while maximizing collection of revenue.
This position oversees the operations of the Revenue Cycle, ensuring timely and accurate billing of services while maximizing collection of revenue.
Responsibilities include:
Develops and implements strategies that optimize and measure revenue cycle performance.
Maintains industry knowledge to ensure compliance and to provide organizational guidance on billing rules and regulations.
Leads and directs the operations of a high-performing revenue cycle function.
Oversees front-end, middle, and back-end processes, including scheduling and pre-registration, registration, health information management, documentation, coding, charge capture, billing, revenue integrity, revenue recovery, and cash collections.
Maintains coding and documentation audits, appeals, and complaint resolution.
Participates in payer relationships, negotiations, monitors compliance, and develops strategies.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree.
5 years of leadership experience.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in revenue cycle operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Experience engaging in the implementation of new processes, enterprise-wide initiatives, and/or technologies.
