What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Tech - 64 Hours Biweekly - Elbow Lake position at PRAIRIE RIDGE HOSPITAL AND HEALTH SERVICES INC?
The purpose of this position is to use good patient care while producing quality radiographs and maintaining your own good health. Responsibilities cover general radiography, CT, bone density and interventional therapy injections. Along with direct patient care duties, includes cleaning, stocking, office work, and holding, transferring, and transportation of patients. This job includes in-house emergency and clinic patients. This position cares for all ages of patients from newborn through geriatric ages. The job requires cooperatively working with other staff, to be flexible with hours and to take call on a rotational basis. The Staff Radiologic Technologist has contact with patients, Prairie Ridge Hospital and Health Services employees, volunteers, clinic personnel and physicians. This position has access to sensitive, confidential information, and must be able to maintain those confidences. The employee must be able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Compensation:
Hourly Wage Range: $27.81 - $39.07 Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

1. Education/Special Skills: Must be registered with the A.R.R.T. or registry eligible and in the process of taking the examination. Willingness to be BLS certified within the first year of employment. The level of education must include the ability to communicate effectively orally and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
2. Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
3. Must be able to attend the work site per schedule. Able to be on call and to be prompt with call back.
4. Adequate computer/keyboarding skills.
