Assisted Living/Memory Care Director
This position is located in New Ulm MN.
At Prairie Senior Cottages we take pride in connecting, caring, and creating moments of joy for residents living with memory loss and their families.
We are looking for a Campus Director to oversee and support the overall operations of our 18-bed Assisted Living/Memory Care Cottage in New Ulm MN. You will be working full-time to lead business management, ensure compliance with rules and regulations, respond to emergencies, and lead your team of caregivers, dietary, activity programming, nursing and health services.
Campus Directors are well-versed in performance and operations management and competent in assuming delegated duties. They are leaders and critical thinkers, ready to solve problems before they become obstacles.
Responsibilities
- Lead in developing and implementing plans and goals
- Coordinate and supervise daily operations of entire campus
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Monitor attainment of objectives
- Undertake staffing responsibilities (scheduling, hiring, training, evaluating)
- Assist in budgeting and monitoring expenses
- Maintain scheduling of events and represent the company when needed
Skills
- Experience as a Campus Director or other similar positions in a campus setting
- Experience in performance and operations management
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully and work harmoniously with personnel, residents, families and the general public.
- Able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Knowledge of working with seniors with Dementia/Alzheimer's disease a plus.
Requirements
- Current LALD or willing and able to achieve assisted living licensure within 1 year of employment.
- Be of good moral and ethical character with a positive and energetic attitude.
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and quality standards.
Wage: $55,000 - $70,00 per year
