The Administrative Associate II, under general supervision, provides quality service to our students, faculty, staff, vendors, and guests. The primary purpose of this position is to perform day-to-day clerical tasks for the department.
This position may pay more than the salary listed above depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.

Job Description
The Administrative Associate II, under general supervision, provides quality service to our students, faculty, staff, vendors, and guests. The primary purpose of this position is to perform day-to-day clerical tasks for the department.
This position may pay more than the salary listed above depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day to day clerical tasks such as answer and direct phone calls, take and distribute messages, type documents and correspondence, organize and coordinates meetings, and answer general inquiries from visitors, staff and students. Maintain records and receipts of cash handling, deposits and vendor contracts on a daily basis. Conduct inventory of office supplies for the department and order office supplies on a monthly basis.
- Establish and maintain computer files and/or records such as key logs, vendor contracts, and rent payments from tenants for Student Center Operations.
- Assist with budget maintenance such as execution of necessary documents for budget transactions. Enter, reconcile and submit information into Banner and Canopy/Famis for billing and collections on a monthly basis. Process requisitions for work orders. Schedule outside vendors, such as temporary single day vendors, for a variety of events inside and outside the building. Make sure all commissions from vendors are current with payments, and track that vendors stay in allotted space. Collect cash from campus dry cleaners and deposit daily each morning.
- Perform space management by acting as one of the administrators for the room reservation software. Respond to room availability inquiries from visitors, staff and students. Reserve rooms for meetings and events using the scheduling software.
- Act as back up to set up students, faculty, staff and guest in CS Gold for meals, laundry, ID cards and panther bucks. Assist Sodexo with micros registers and contact CBORD for service support.
- Monitor student workers schedule and timesheets in Workday.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of related experience.
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Knowledge of student information systems, degree planning, and degree audits.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
