Description
We are seeking a Admissions Coordinator to join our team at Platinum Communities. The Admissions Coordinator admits residents to the community through marketing programs, obtaining applicant information and completing admissions processes.
Requirements
To be considered:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years caregiver experience working in a CBRF/RCAC environment preferred.
- Ability to read, speak and write in English.
- Flexible and available to work beyond regularly scheduled hours, as well as weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must have or be willing to obtain CBRF/RCAC certifications as needed.
- Ability to learn new technology.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Maintains admissions by updating CRM and recommending changes when needed to admission process.
- Obtains applicant information by requesting completed applications and medical information; verifying and clarifying information; interviewing residents and family members; explaining admission criteria.
- Screens residents by comparing patient's condition to admission criteria; evaluating and accepting or rejecting residents.
- Admits residents by completing admission and financial responsibility forms.
- Prepares admissions reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Coordinates referrals with community Administrator to ensure proper admission process.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
- Maintains relationships with local case workers to generate new prospective residents.
- Promote and execute quarterly community events.
- Assist in implementing local advertisements.
- Local travel up to 30% of the time.
- Network regularly to local referral source to maintain pipeline of prospective residents.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding information concerning residents, residents’ families, co-workers, and Platinum Communities.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and ongoing in-service opportunities. Annual requirements for continuing education must be met.
- Read, understand, and follow all policies and procedures.
- Rotates on call with management team.
