The Administrative Assistant Student Internship will work closely with team members to assist with record-keeping, documentation, and customer service, gaining valuable insights into agronomic operations and business processes. Key Responsibilities
Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Performs administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, binding, scanning, and other related duties.
Demonstrates courteous and professional communication through phone, email, and written correspondence.
Supports the team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
Assist in monthly customer statement distribution.
Coordinates, schedules, and prepares for meetings, as requested.
Answers phone and communicates with appropriate personnel to resolve customer inquiries promptly.
Always demonstrates a high degree of professionalism.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Pays close attention to detail, prioritizes work daily, and displays organizational skills to keep up with continuously changing demands.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Must be pursuing a degree or certification from a community college, technical college, or university and be in good academic standing at the time the internship begins.
Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
