JOB TITLE: Clinical Application Support Technician
TYPE: Full Time (hourly)
Job Summary / Overview:
As an IT Clinical Application Support Technician, your primary responsibility will be to provide entry-level application support and troubleshooting to staff for the Electronic Health Records (EHR) application. Additionally, you will assist in offering end-user support for various hardware and software applications. The ideal candidate is able to work in both a team environment and independently, demonstrating solid troubleshooting skills and technical aptitude.
Essential Duties:
- Respond to incidents and request tickets in a timely fashion and document all activity related to that ticket.
- Provide EHR support for users with equipment running clinical applications.
- Diagnose and resolve EHR issues to include but not limited to logins and permissions, user setup, mobile app, peripheral interface communications, and transmission of data.
- Work with the EHR software vendor to push patches and resolve technical / workflow issues.
- Identify and escalate complex problems or service requests to the Junior Network Administrator, IT Manager, oh EHR Software vendor
- Create custom EHR reports using IBM Cognos and SQL.
Secondary Duties
- Provide laptop and desktop PC support for users with equipment running Windows.
- Help diagnose and resolve IT-related equipment issues, such as hotspots, office phones, printers, scanners, docking stations, monitors, webcams, tablets, etc.
- Provide support for Office 365 applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Help desk: 1 year (Preferred)
- Relevant certifications or previous Electronic Health Record experience helpful.
- Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
