• Immerse yourself in our safety culture by adhering to and championing Pratt Industries’ safety protocols. Participate actively in our Plant Safety Committee.
• Embrace Good Manufacturing Processes, infusing them into every aspect of your work.
• Become a guardian of quality, preventing defective products from ever reaching our customers.
• Push the limits by maximizing equipment utilization, reducing setup times, and cutting down downtime. Flag mechanical issues swiftly to the relevant supervisors.
• Engage in daily housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean, hazard-free workspace. This extends to break rooms and other shared areas.
• Continuously learn machine capabilities and drive efficiency—not sacrificing quality for speed.
• Share your knowledge by training and assisting teammates, nurturing a collaborative environment.
• Document production, operational, safety, and quality data with precision.
• Proactively submit maintenance work order requests for machine repairs.
• Stay flexible, switching duties as needed for collective growth and efficiency.
• Follow production schedules while suggesting improvements to enhance cost, quality, and service goals.
• Embrace the unexpected, working overtime as required to always support our 24/7 service promise.
• Undertake additional tasks as designated by management.

Your Credentials

High school diploma or equivalent required. Extra points for:

• Packaging industry experience
• Six months in a related manufacturing field

Essential Skills

Practiced with mechanical troubleshooting and machine setups for production runs, ideally with plastic extrusion experience. Demonstrated proficiency in reading instructions, performing mathematical calculations, and applying logical problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment
