Summary
We are searching for an energetic self-starter with the ability to function at a high level in a dynamic and challenging environment. Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills are critical to performing well in this role, and prior working knowledge of SAP is a strong plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required, along with the ability to lead and drive performance in a team environment. The principal duties of this position are to investigate, analyze, and prepare invoices that comply with contractual agreements and align with any company controls and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate MRO customer invoices, estimates and quotes on schedule
Ensure accuracy of sales order material and labor charges
Analyze invoices for internal error corrections before submission
Help drive a 100% accurate and on time invoice culture
Reconcile Customer accounts with CEC accounts receivable
Apply provisions of Customer contracts to the invoice
Meet internal and customer metrics on invoice timeliness and accuracy
Apply ACE tools to ensure continuous improvement
Other related duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or Data Analysis; OR Advanced degree and 6 months of relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship is required for this position; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access and handle sensitive data required to support our government and military programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Geared Turbo Fan(GTF) AR/AP experience generating invoices related to engine repairs and providing direct support to an overhaul & repair manufacturing environment preferred
MRO SAP experience highly preferred
MRO Engine invoice creation and reconciliation experience
PC skills including MS Office with advanced skills in Excel
Follow GAAP and UTC accounting policy
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proven ability to independently resolve moderate problems, and know when to seek support from other sources
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with individuals and/or teams at all levels of the organization, and with fields outside of Finance
Strong aptitude for identifying inefficiencies and opportunities to drive operational improvements. UTC ACE Associate Certification preferred
