Summary: Responsible for non-product inventory monitoring and optimization, including potential source identification, purchase requisition, vendor coordination, risk escalation, consumption analysis, and optimizing min/max targets to support Asheville’s ongoing operations and business requirements. Work closely with key internal stakeholders to forecast needs and find supply chain solutions that meet their project schedules and budget requirements. Additionally, working closely with the core Procurement team at P&W and RTX to track spend and identify potential cost savings.
What You Will Do:
- Ensuring compliance with ethics and procurement policies and procedures
- Executing sourcing and procurement strategies - Ensuring proposals, contract terms and conditions, statements of work, etc., align and support sourcing strategies and coordinating with internal customers to forecast consumption and ensure delivery commitments support production output plans
- Managing key suppliers to ensure they are compliant to P&W policies and provide their goods and services on schedule and within budget and measuring Key Performance Indicators to ensure continued progress toward achieving annual goals
- Driving continuous improvement of procurement processes, including collaboration with key stakeholders
- Managing and escalating shortages to minimize or eliminate production impact and communicate with both customers & vendors on status, expedites, lead time and capacity requirements, etc.
- Participating in special projects and other tasks, as needed
Qualifications You Must Have:
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Knowledge of SAP ERP systems.
- High level of organizational, interpersonal and computer skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Etc.)
- Associate degree

This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
