Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of duties in operating chemical cleaning tanks, both hot and cold to remove organic and inorganic coatings from aircraft engine parts.

• Segregate parts by material type such as aluminum, steel, titanium, stainless steel, and magnesium.

• Positioning of parts in cleaning baskets ensuring that they will not be damaged by part to part contact.

• Place basket under hoist, lift, and position in respective tanks according to type, and remove at termination of cleaning cycle.

• Add chemicals to cleaning tanks as instructed.

• Perform other duties such as wet / dry blasting, shot peening, de-burring, and polishing as required.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School education plus post High School trades training.

• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

• Must possess normal dexterity and able to lift and move heavy items.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years specialized training in maintenance, assembly or test of gas turbine engines or similar aircraft systems.

• Prior experience working on Turbofan engines.

• Knowledge of aircraft engine assembly procedures including fits and tolerances, use of precision measuring instruments and gauges, hand tools, special assembly equipment and the ability to work from complicated drawings and specifications.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
