Supplier Quality Assurance is seeking an experienced quality practitioner to be a Pratt & Whitney Supplier Quality Assurance Representative (SQAR).

• 
  This position requires daily travel in Connecticut and surrounding states and reports to the SQA Manager of the Northeast Region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier on-site quality support
• First Article Inspection approval
• Supplier surveillance audits
• Support PW initiatives throughout the supply base
• Support quality initiatives at the supply base as required
• Support escape/non-conformance/RCCA investigation

Basic Qualifications:

• Frequent travel is required to various suppliers in the Northeast region.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
• US Person Status required due to government contract

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of AS9100 and PW specifications preferred.
• A degree in Engineering, Science or related field is preferable; candidates with commensurate experience will be considered.
• 7-15 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering and/or Quality Auditing experience.
• Experience with First Article Inspection.
• Experience with RCCA.
• Familiarity with shop operations, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Familiarity with various inspection tools and techniques including layout inspection is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and procedures.
• Castings/forgings experience a plus.
• PPAP experience a plus.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Ability to effectively manage time and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with tools such as MS Office or similar spreadsheet, presentation and word processing applications.

In compliance with Connecticut law, the wage range for this role is $94000 - $196000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
