Job Description

Northwest Medical, of Praxis Health in Vancouver, has been providing exceptional care to multiple generations of families for over 30 years! We have built an excellent reputation in the community, which makes for a loyal patient panel and are now seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 3 years experience, within an out-patient Primary Care clinic to join our team.

 

Benefit Highlights:

  • Full-time (4 day workweek)
  • Compensation: $141,000 - $200,000 /year
  • Relocation/ Sign-on bonus

  • Light, shared call (no hospital call)

Minimum Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Abilities:

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within an out-patient Primary Care clinic
  • Clinical competency and expertise in caring for Primary Care patients
  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
  • Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
  • In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Respect for patient's confidentiality
  • Compassionate and approachable
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Attend work regularly and on time

General Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings.
