Overview
Praxis Packaging continues to grow!!! We are looking to add a strong Accounts Payable Administrator to support our Accounting/Finance Department. Detail orientation, communications and strong follow-up skills will be required to maintain accurate and organized vendor accounts payable records.
- This role would normally work M-F office hours, some flexibility may be considered for start/end times.
- Some casual overtime in this role could be expected, although it is not expected to be significant
- Target pay is $20-$27/hr. Hourly pay will be based on the experience and skill level of the applicant.

Knowledge & Experience:
- Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent, preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience with Accounts Payable or similar experience, preferred.
- Experience working directly with vendors, preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, required.
- Strong MS Office or other computer system experience, required.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily processing of vendor invoices; via 3-way matching as well as maintaining appropriate signatures for service type invoicing without purchase orders.
- Assist with month end duties, including completing AP billing based on the monthly finance closing schedule.
- Ensuring all vendor invoices are accurately entered into the Company’s financial software.
- Digitally store all accounts payable paperwork per the finance department guidelines.
- Prepare proposed payment runs to send to the Controller for approval.
- Assist in maintaining vendor relationships as well as answer payment questions or investigate invoice discrepancies.
- Provide Accounts Payable detail to Controller for cash forecasting.
- Oversee vendor 1099 document information.
- Monitor and maintain Accounts Payable aging reports.
- Process expense reports for reimbursement and maintain proper GL accounts and timely entering of receipts for corporate credit cards.
- Assist in other Accounting/Finance activities as needed.
