The Apartment Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the apartments, common areas, and other facilities at Brighton Arms Apartments. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Apartment Cleaning:
- Prepare market-ready apartments:
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, windows and other areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, countertops, and fixtures.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Remove trash.
- Clean laundry rooms according to company standards.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in all areas.
Outdoor Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness of walkways, parking areas, and other outdoor spaces.
- Pick up litter and debris around the property.
- Assist with snow and ice removal as needed.
General Duties:
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Head Superintendent.
- Follow all safety and health guidelines.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good working order.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial work preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and techniques.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Driver's licenses required.
