Precipart, located in Farmingdale, NY, is looking to hire a Systems Analyst to join our Global Digital Solutions Team. The Systems Analyst will maintain a reliable, secure, and efficient technology environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain and upgrade existing systems as required, including PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment.
- Install and rollout new hardware and applications.
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and licensed users.
- Fully support, configure, and maintain the network, servers, and firewall.
- Research and evaluate new technologies.
- Risk mitigation planning and cost / benefit analysis.
- Collaborate with various teams to resolve issues and ensure solutions are viable and consistent.
- Create system baseline documentation and manuals for the organization.
- Run training sessions and workshops on various system processes.
- Conduct regular reviews of systems and generate reports on efficiencies and improvement areas.
- Structure and prioritize business requirements and communicate plans with stakeholders for review and approval.
- Support and administer third-party applications.
- Ensure network security and connectivity, monitor network performance and test for weaknesses.
- Setup user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Perform Helpdesk duties including troubleshooting Windows (current versions), troubleshooting printer problems, answering helpdesk phone and triaging calls.
- Implement new PC builds, maintain PC / Windows updates and file restores from backups.
- Execute network assessments and security audits.
- Communicate with customers as required : keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
- Participate in change management and performance improvement programs for assigned technologies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, and monitor and respond quickly to incoming requests.
- Responsible for conforming with the company’s quality management system requirements, as well as contributing to its overall effectiveness, and the ultimate goals of customer satisfaction, product compliance and ethical practices / behavior.
