Precipart is looking for a Product Quality Intern to join our Product Quality team. As a Product Quality Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in quality improvement initiatives by leading efforts to prevent nicks and dents in precision parts, developing training and visual management tools, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to enhance material handling processes.
Spring Internship Opportunity
12 Weeks : Monday, February 10, 2025 through Friday, May 2, 2025
Hours : 10- 20 hours per week
Responsibilities :
Assess trays and material handling and material transporting-review prototypes to cover trays with a lining and explore new material handling techniques.
Develop a site wide training for Nicks and Dents / proper handling parts and all MFG and support functions
Create robust visuals for material handling expectations pertaining to Nicks ad Dents prevention and ensure posted on all Visual Management tools for awareness.
Requirements :
Preferred Major : Industrial / Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or Supply Chain
Innovative / creative thinker
Comfortable public speaking
