We are currently seeking a Billing Accounting Specialist to support our corporate office in Reston, Virginia. This role is responsible for all aspects of a subset of accounts receivable including billing and submission
Hybrid work schedule: 2 days in office, 3 days remote
Duties:
- Collaborate with billing team on project setups and to ensure projects are properly capturing costs, recognizing revenue and preparing customer invoices
- Follow up on collections as needed
- Reconcile billing data to the accounting system
- Support customer questions and trouble shoot issues as they arise.
Required Education:
- Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance or business administration
Required Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Government contracting experience required, Deltek Costpoint - billing, revenue and projects modules preferred
- Strong experience with all types of government contracts, preferably a candidate who possesses skills in the Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) environment
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
