We are seeking multiple Power Business Intelligence Analysts, to work as an integral part of a collaborative team for a DoD customer. The role is based in Florida and allows for remote work, with no travel required. This will typically involves designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI to transform data into actionable insights, often requiring skills in data modeling, SQL, and data visualization.
Duties:
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Gather, clean, and prepare data from various sources.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within data sets.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.
Power BI Development:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Build and optimize data models for efficient reporting.
- Create compelling visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL or other database languages.
- Experience with data modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with data visualization principles and best practices.
Other Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power BI.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in reporting processes.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with the duties listed above.
Required Education:
- BS or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
