What are the responsibilities and job description for the VTL SETUP / OPERATOR position at Precise Tool & Manufacturing Inc.?
Requirements of this position include, but are not limited to:
Set-up and run Toshiba Vertical Turning Centers.
Set-up and program on the Fanuc control and proving out first pieces.
Select, inspect and set up tools to ensure quality production.
Inspect and dimensionally check production to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
Utilizing properly calibrated measuring instruments to perform in-process inspection.
Perform routine operator maintenance and operational checks on tools and equipment.
Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a neat and orderly fashion.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Minimum 8 years of experience.
Must have some experience working with parts from 60" up to 218" diameter.
Must have experience on CNC machines and be familiar with GD&T.
Must be able to interpret and implement blueprint specifications.
