Precise Tool & Manufacturing Inc. is currently recruiting for VTL Setup Operators.

$5,000 - Sign-On Bonus Offered to Skilled VTL Setup Operators

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Set-up and run Toshiba Vertical Turning Centers.
• Set-up and program on the Fanuc control and proving out first pieces.
• Select, inspect and set up tools to ensure quality production.
• Inspect and dimensionally check production to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
• Utilizing properly calibrated measuring instruments to perform in-process inspection.
• Perform routine operator maintenance and operational checks on tools and equipment.
• Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a neat and orderly fashion.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Minimum 8 years of experience.
• Must have some experience working with parts from 60" up to 218" diameter.
• Must have experience on CNC machines and be familiar with GD&T.
• Must be able to interpret and implement blueprint specifications.

According to the New York Pay Transparency law, pay range for this job is $25.00 - $35.00 / hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
