- Welds metal parts together using GTAW Process.
- Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.
- Repairs broken or cracked parts, and fill holes.
- Dimensional and visually inspect parts for adherence to customer requirements.
- Reads routers, blueprints, and sketches of part to determine dimensional specifications and operating requirements.
- Performs required preventative maintenance procedures on assigned welding equipment within specified time frames.
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to weld specific metals; Inconel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Titanium.
- Ability to weld thickness ranging from .020-.090
- Ability to certify to AWS 17.1
- 5 years minimum experience to Aerospace GTAW Process.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient ability to read blueprints supporting Aerospace industries
- Work in a fast paced, fluid environment
