National Sales Manager
Precision Analytical creators of the DUTCH Test (dried urine test for comprehensive hormones) is looking for a talented National Sales Manager to join our team in furthering the company’s mission of providing the best diagnostic tools in functional medicine. This role will be responsible for implementing and driving long-term sales strategies, overseeing sales operations across various regions, and driving the sales team forward.
The office is in McMinnville, Oregon, in the beautiful Willamette Valley. We do allow for out-of-state candidates who are in the states we currently have employees in. This includes Alabama, Arizonia, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Montana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $87,925-$109,905. We generally aim for the low to mid point of the salary range to provide room for growth within the role. Your salary can be negotiated based on various factors, such as years of experience, level of expertise, etc. In your initial interview with the HR Specialist, you will have an open discussion about your pay expectations.
The Opportunity
The National Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the sales strategy, overseeing a team of sales professionals, and ensuring the company's products reach their target markets effectively.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Connect regularly via phone, email or online, with potential healthcare customers or vendors; follow up on leads and further develop relationships through superior customer service and relationship building
- Conduct internal or external review of current trends, customer needs and engagement, cost or efficiency improvement ideas using data analysis, customer surveys or other observations; work with manager or cross-functionally to address related gaps
- Plan and implement process changes to improve the Sales Team efficiency and customer satisfaction; create or update SOPs, policies, conduct training, etc.
- Troubleshoot issues elevated from team or otherwise identified; lead or participate in cross-functional process improvement or other projects as needed
- Communicate and partner with Marketing, Education, Clinical or Operations to ensure printed materials, kits, reports, educational offerings, etc. are helping us lead in the industry and support customer needs
- Manage set-up, content and be an expert user in CRM or other sales programs, phone systems, etc.; providing training and support to team as needed
- Manage necessary documentation and records, and related data; prepare reports by collecting and analyzing data, present to leadership as needed
- Maintain quality service in all interactions; advise team, manager or other departments of potential issues as needed
- Assist in development and implementation of strategies to acquire new customers and/or to improve the overall customer experience
- Works with Chief Revenue Officer to maintain an appropriate organizational team structure; establishes departmental goals, objectives. Utilizes key performance indicators (KPI’s) and metrics to determine departmental effectiveness
- Manage and lead team members; coach team to meet objectives and customer service expectations, and to achieve personal development goals
- Supervise and delegate tasks to team members; manage schedules and ADP timesheets, answer questions, and provide regular support on all employment related topics. Partner with manager, HR, or others as needed

- Collaboratively perform other duties as needed to support company goals; may provide back-up for sales or client success teams as needed
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales Management or similar field; 5 years’ related experience or overall equivalent
- Leadership & Team Management: Strong ability to motivate and lead a diverse team across different regions.
- Sales Expertise: Extensive experience in sales and sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies to achieve growth.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficiency in analyzing sales data and generating reports for decision-making.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with both internal teams and external clients.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address sales challenges or client needs.
- Technology: Computer technology experience and the ability to learn systems quickly and effectively; VoIP and CRM database system experience

Preferred Qualification:
- Industry Experience: Sales Experience in functional and/or integrative medicine will help with the success of this position; preference will be given to those with experience in this area
Work Environment:
This position is located in an office (or employee remote) environment with frequent use of a computer, telephone and related hardware. A person must be able to stand and/or sit; see, hear and talk; use hands to type, handle or feel tools or controls; use hands and arms to reach. Occasionally lifting/moving up to 10lbs is also required.
In addition, this position will require a person to travel via car, airplane, and other modes of transportation to various sites including Precision Analytical locations, conferences, customer or vendor locations, etc. Travel is estimated at 50%.
