We currently have a Mechanical Technician position open at our Keystone Turbine Services facility in Coatesville, PA.
JOB PURPOSE
Candidates who join our team will be involved in the disassembly of a wide variety of Rolls-Royce M250 Series engines and components. As part of our team, you will work with and be trained by some of the best, most experienced M250 technicians in the industry. Previous aviation experience is valued, but not required.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions:
• Read and interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing life-limited, malfunctioning, or damaged components.
• Replace or repair worn, defective or damaged components using hand tools, gauges and testing equipment.
• Perform testing of M250 model engines and components.
Ideal candidates will offer:
• Proficient in reading and understanding manufacturer's instructions, drawings, and technical documents
• Mechanical experience in either the Aviation or Automotive Industry
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment, i.e., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.
• A & P license preferred but not required
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 50 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Experience: At least 3 years of related experience in Automotive or Aviation industry, or related field preferred.
