The Mechanic provides the Company with troubleshooting and preventative/corrective maintenance expertise with regard to the vehicle fleet and assigned equipment.

- Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
- Updates and maintains the Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) schedules and manuals timely and accurately.
- Documents work performed in a thorough, accurate and timely manner in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) computer system.
- Performs all maintenance tasks in coordination with production activities and schedules.
- Ensures all tasks are performed with appropriate safety measures and consistent with generally accepted maintenance shop practices.
- Performs observation, diagnosis, maintenance and repair on mechanical, minor electrical and hydraulic systems on light and heavy-duty motorized vehicles and equipment.
- Performs all other duties as apparent or as assigned.
Qualifications and Education:
- High School or General Education Diploma Required; further education preferred.
- 1 years of vehicle maintenance required.
- 1-3 years of mechanical/electrical preferred.
- Prior work within fast-paced vehicle maintenance shop is a plus.
- Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and Preventative Maintenance is a plus.
- Trade or Vocational Certification preferred.
- ASC Certification is a plus.
- Must have own tools.
