Position Summary:
The role supports two business entities within Southern California and location will be based in Paramount, CA. This position supports the company in ensuring daily financial activities are recorded accurately and in compliance with corporate and division policies, GAAP regulations, SOX compliance, and other relevant laws and regulations. Ensures transactional activity is timely in order to meet the deadline and scheduling requirements of any given task. Identify and provide guidance for process and efficiency improvements. Maintain and develop various reports as required, to assist in communicating results to others. Assist with the monthly closing of financial records to Division and Corporate.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepares journal entries
- Performs monthly account reconciliations
- Analyzing incoming documentation for proper handling
- Assist with AR and AP activities
- Interacts with other departments, management, and related companies on a regular basis
- Assists in providing internal and external audit support
- Able to accomplish tasks within deadlines and outside normal office hours, as business requires
- Perform additional support as assigned to help the team meet overall goals and requirements
Required Skills:
- Computer knowledge: Advanced use of MS Word and MS Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills.

Experience & Education
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- 1 years of related finance experience
- ERP/SOX knowledge highly preferred
