Precision Combustion, Inc is seeking a part-time Entry Level Accountant / Bookkeeper to support our finance department in managing our financial transactions and ensuring accurate recordkeeping. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for a Government R&D contractor in the Clean Energy Space
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Support the monthly close process by preparing journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger and ensuring compliance with accounting principles
- Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with financial reporting
- Collaborate with the finance team on various financial projects and analyses

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree / Certification or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with financial software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
- Internship or relevant coursework in accounting or finance
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
- Basic knowledge of government contracting principles is a plus
