Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Order Entry Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer orders accurately and efficiently while ensuring alignment with technical specifications and production capabilities. This role is crucial in maintaining our operational flow and delivering top-notch products to our clients.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Enter, update, and maintain customer orders in the ERP system with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure accurate order entry.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to clarify order specifications and address any discrepancies.
- Generate order confirmations and communicate timelines and any potential delays to customers.
- Support inventory management by tracking materials necessary for order fulfillment.
- Assist in troubleshooting order-related issues and provide technical support to customers as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive records of order histories and customer interactions for future reference.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance order entry efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or relevant technical coursework preferred.
- Proven experience in order entry or a similar role within a manufacturing environment; experience with sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in using ERP software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/prints.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and customers.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
