What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Precision Die Cutting, Inc?
Overview
In this position, you will maintain quality standards in process production, finished products and record the results. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as keen attention to detail.
Duties
- Approve in-process production and all finished products by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the production supervisor. Knowledge of calipers and drawing standards required.
- Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm rework.
- Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and initiating repairs as required.
- Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- MUST be familiar ISO 9001 and OSHA requirements
- Packaging and shipping small orders.
- Perform duties of a safety coordinator.
Experience
- Proven experience in a quality control is required.
- Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001 and QA/QC processes is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Proficiency in utilizing various precision measuring instruments for product testing.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
