What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Precision Door Service of Central Jersey?
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Schedule service calls for customers and route technicians in an efficient manner
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling
- Advise on company information
- Resolve customer complaints via phone or email
- Proven customer support experience
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a drug screening and a background check
- Knowledge of Monmouth, Ocean, Burlington, Mercer and Middlesex counties are helpful but not required
