Position Summary

Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair of fire alarm systems. NICET certification preferred but willingness to obtain certification required.

Communication: Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently. Employs effective listening, written, and oral communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with property managers.

Problem Solving: Ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, and implications.

Interpersonal Skills: Tactful and mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities.

Technical: High School diploma or equivalent. Possess an in-depth understanding of fire alarm systems operation and programming. NICET Certification preferred. Honeywell, Simplex, EST, etc programming certification a plus

General: Two years trade experience. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must pass background check. Be able to safely perform physically including heavy lifting, 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and operating power drills/saws. Must be able to pass state and federal background check (criminal record or federal watch lists). Must be eligible for US employment. Be able to work from elevated heights.'
