About Us:
Precision Fluid Controls, Inc. designs, manufactures and tests components for launch vehicles and ground support applications—providing many types of valves including throttling valves, ball valves, check and relief valves, vent and relief valves, pressure reducing, both manual and dome loaded, regulators, sleeve valves, butterfly valves, solenoid valves plus many others.
About the role:
PFC is in search of a Quality Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing quality engineering, quality control, quality assurance, and product quality management within the manufacturing/production environment.
The role is a fully on-site role located in our Lincoln, CA offices and will report directly to the Quality Manager. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate all processes and data between Quality Control and Inspection.
- Direct Quality/Inspection department operations, provide education. and train staff related to quality.
- Gather, analyze and manage quality and inspection related data using company provided system software.
- Monitor quality activities to ensure the company's products comply with quality standards.
- Perform RCCA (Root Cause / Corrective Action) activities.
- Implement new processes and procedures as necessary.
- Implement process improvements for all manufacturing, inspection, and production departments.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Product Quality expertise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in quality assessments.
- Knowledge of machining processes and tools.
- Experience with quality standards and regulations in the aerospace industry.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay Range: 95,000-110,000. Commensurate with candidate experience.
