Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Planner to join our team. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating production workflow and ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will collaborate with various teams, including production, purchasing, and logistics, to create production schedules, monitor inventory levels, and optimize production capacity.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. . Utilize production planning software and tools to generate reports, workorder, track production metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
2. Review Inventory level, monitor material receiving and incoming inspection.
3. Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely completion of production orders and resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
4. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
5. Communicate production schedules, priorities, and changes to relevant stakeholders, including production, purchasing, and sales teams.
6. Utilize production planning software and tools to generate reports, workorder, track production metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma graduate
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Proficiency in production planning software and tools, such as ERP systems, MRP systems, or Excel.
· Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
· Problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they arise.
· Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
· Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or related roles within a manufacturing environment is a plus.
