Inventory/shipping Specialist

Precision Graphics is a custom manufacturer of labels, and graphic control panels and located in East Berlin CT. We are looking for a part time person to work in our shipping and receiving /and inventory department for approximately 24-28 hours per week. The ideal schedule would be about M-Th 8:45AM to 3:45 PM. No Fridays.

Job Description:

We are a small manufacturing company looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory/Shipping  Specialist to join our team. This role involves wrapping, labeling, picking and packing orders, preparing shipments, and handling incoming inventory. Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
• Kit parts-in-process for assembly

• Receive and inspect work-in-process inventory, ensuring accuracy and quality and entering into SAP software system

• Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas

• Print shipping labels and coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.)

• Assist with occasional light assembly or product packaging as needed

• Operate a pallet jack,

• Follow company safety and quality control procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse work is a plus but not required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Basic computer skills for processing shipments (label printing, tracking, etc.)

• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

• Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
