Position Overview
The Medical Records Courier plays a critical role in securely transporting sensitive patient documents while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies. This position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism when interacting with healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport Medical Records – Pick up and deliver medical records and confidential documents between hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers.
- Ensure Confidentiality & Compliance – Follow all HIPAA regulations to protect patient information.
- Maintain Documentation & Tracking – Keep accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and required signatures.
- Vehicle Maintenance – Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle.
- Timeliness – Complete all deliveries and pickups according to a set schedule.
- Customer Service – Provide professional and courteous interactions with healthcare staff.
- Problem-Solving – Address delivery issues, such as delays or missing documents, promptly.

Requirements
Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Experience : Previous experience in a courier or delivery role preferred, especially in healthcare. Skills : Strong attention to detail and organization. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely. Excellent communication and time management skills. Comfort with using mobile devices, GPS, and tracking systems. Licensing : Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Salary : $18 - $21
