Position Overview :
The Senior Softscape Foreman will lead a team in the execution of various softscape projects, including planting, soil preparation, mulching, sodding, and maintenance of landscape features. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of horticulture and landscaping practices. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces and a proven track record of managing successful landscaping projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise a team of landscapers in the installation and maintenance of softscape elements, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Plan and organize daily work schedules, assigning tasks to team members based on project requirements and individual skill sets.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work is performed to the highest standards and in accordance with design specifications.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices, safety procedures, and proper use of equipment.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to ensure project goals are met and client satisfaction is achieved.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during project execution, maintaining a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- This position transitions into full-time snow removal during the winter months.
