Position Summary:

The Plant Manager will lead daily production operations for our commercial laundry and linen business, serving hospitality clients. This leadership role oversees the full cycle of linen and terry services, including material cleaning, finishing, and delivery, while ensuring operational excellence and adherence to our core values.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

· Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring precision and consistency in cleaning, finishing, and delivery processes.

· Monitor production metrics to maintain high-quality standards and efficiency.

· Implement and uphold cleanliness and safety protocols to protect staff and clients.

Team Management & Workforce Development:

· Lead, mentor, and empower a diverse production team, promoting professional growth.

· Foster a culture of ownership, communication, and accountability among staff.

· Conduct training programs focused on skill development, safety, and quality.

Quality Control & Process Improvement:

· Drive a culture of precision by ensuring adherence to established quality standards.

· Regularly review and improve processes for efficiency and waste reduction.

· Utilize data-driven decision-making to enhance operational performance.

· Ensure that all linens meet or exceed customer expectations by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

Eco-Friendly Operations:

· Oversee the use of environmentally friendly cleaning practices and technologies that reduce the consumption of chemicals, water, and energy.

· Continuously seek improvements that enhance operational sustainability.

Equipment & Process Optimization:

· Ensure that all machinery and systems operate efficiently.

· Conduct regular maintenance checks, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.

Client Relationship Management:

· Ensure the production and delivery of high-quality linen services that exceed client expectations.

· Collaborate with the customer service team to address client feedback promptly.

· Maintain strong partnerships with hospitality clients by ensuring service excellence.

Inventory & Resource Management:

· Manage inventory levels for linen and production supplies to ensure consistent operations.

· Optimize resource allocation and minimize waste.

Integrity & Compliance:

· Uphold the highest standards of integrity in all operational and personnel decisions.

· Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

· Promote responsible environmental practices in all plant operations.

Qualifications:

o Minimum 5 years of plant management or production leadership experience, preferably in the commercial laundry or hospitality services industry, or equivalent.

o Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage high-volume production environments.

o Strong knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and operational best practices.

o Strong quality control focus with the ability to identify and correct issues quickly and efficiently.

o Ability to troubleshoot operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve processes.

o Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

o Working knowledge of health and safety regulations in a production environment, with a focus on maintaining a safe workspace.

o Willingness to work varying shifts and weekends, as the business operates seven days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

o Experience with lean manufacturing principles or similar process improvement methodologies.

o Knowledge of environmentally sustainable practices in production environments.

o Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Benefits:

o Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Salary range is $65,000-$75,000 base with bonus potential monthly, quarterly, and annually.
