Job Description/Who You Are
Precision Medical, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated accounting clerk to manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable transactions. This role is responsible for handling various accounting tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial recordkeeping. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Process invoices accurately and on time.
- Verify purchase orders, receipts, and payment terms.
- Prepare and issue payments via checks, ACH, or wire transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain up to date records of all accounts payable transactions.
Accounts Receivable
- Generate and send customer invoices in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts for overdue payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Apply payments to customer accounts and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Process credit memos and adjustments as needed.
- Reconcile accounts and assist with collection efforts.
General Accounting Duties
- Assist with month/quarter/year end closing processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (bachelor’s preferred).
- 2 plus years of experience in accounts payable and receivable roles.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to review large amounts of data and communicate effectively with other departments to update information.
- Ability to retain information and update processes to be more effective.
Physical Requirements
- Able to move about an office environment.
- Prolonged sitting at a desk to work on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
