We have a great career opportunity for an experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Irving, TX.

In This Role You Will

• Manage the Team responsible for moving work into and out of the laboratory
• Perform the clerical and physical duties involved with the receipt and shipment of products as well as managing historical record of shipments and making the data available to the Administrative group
• Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against documentation, identifying discrepancies and damage with incoming shipments.
• May include verifying equipment for outgoing shipment against documentation and package product utilizing appropriate materials.
• Relay information to customers, both (internal and external).
• Build & maintain strong customer/vendor relationships
• Manage fleet & facility maintenance requests by coordinating the appropriate outside vendor
• On occasion this role may require you to: coordinate freight shipments, drive a forklift, meet with & manage freight company representatives
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

As a Logistics Supervisor you must possess:

• High School diploma, GED
• Minimum of 3 years previous relevant work experience in a similar role to include shipping & receiving
• Strong Communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail and multi-taking ability
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid state driver’s license and good/clean driving record
