We are currently looking for a highly skilled Diesel Technicianto join our team and work on everything from heavy-duty diesel engines to suspension systems, ensuring that our customers’ trucks can perform at their best. What We’re Looking For:
We need a Diesel Technician who thrives on working with complex systems and loves the challenge of diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks. Whether it’s troubleshooting engines, handling complex diagnostic software, or fabricating custom solutions, we’re looking for someone who has the experience and passion to get the job done right.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and Repair: Heavy-duty diesel trucks, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Advanced Diagnostics: Use Cummins INSITE, Navistar Service Maxx, PACCAR Davie4, Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link (DDDL), and JPRO Professional Diagnostic Software to perform advanced diagnostics.
- After-Treatment Systems: Troubleshoot and repair after-treatment systems (DPF, SCR), air ride suspension systems, and trailer components.
- Welding & Fabrication: Conduct welding and fabrication for custom solutions and repairs.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and DOT inspections to keep vehicles running at their best.
- Service Records: Maintain accurate service records, ensuring workspaces are clean and organized.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and fleet managers to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
Requirements:
- Experience in Diesel engine repair working on heavy-duty trucks.
- Tools & License: Own tools and a valid driver’s license.
- Diagnostic Skills: Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Preferred Certifications: ASE Medium-Heavy or OEM-specific training is a plus.
- Physical Capabilities: Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, twist, kneel, and perform strenuous tasks.
- Team-Oriented: A reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious team player.
