The Office Manager will oversee the general administrative function and activities of the office.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily work activities of the office, including staff members
- May handle or assist with discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Oversees staff members, including shift scheduling/staff coverage, time-off, and discipline.
- Escalates employee relations and staff concerns to HR as needed
- Provides clerical support when needed to assist clerical staff with assigned administrative duties such as answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, and preparing documents.
- Ensures the office and all staff are complying with legal regulations including HIPAA and OSHA
- Oversees petty cash fund and counts cash collected at the end of each month
- Maintains inventory of office supplies; orders new supplies as needed. Submits any expenses requiring a quote to Corporate office.
- Maintains office files; implements an efficient system for other staff to access files and records.
- Facilitates maintenance of office equipment including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs. Escalates major maintenance requests to VP of Operations as required.
- Assists with scheduling staff and ensuring proper staff coverage as needed
- Oversee billing corrections process and delegate corrections to appropriate staff members as necessary
- Oversees patient files and ensures information is accurate and uploaded properly; makes corrections to files as required
- Submit tickets for basic EMR errors directly to EMR and escalate complex issues to Regional Manager as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of orthopedics offices/medical office best practices, including familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, and related regulations
- Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Working knowledge of medical EMR systems is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- At least three years of administrative and clerical experience in the medical field required.
- 1-3 years of direct supervisory experience preferred
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
