About the Role:
As a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist at Precision Physical Therapy & Fitness, you will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for patients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction. Your primary focus will be to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans that address a variety of conditions related to the pelvic region. You will work closely with patients to educate them about their conditions and empower them through therapeutic exercises and techniques. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals will be essential to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes. Ultimately, your expertise will help patients regain function, reduce pain, and enhance their overall well-being.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
- Completion of specialized training in pelvic floor rehabilitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with patients with pelvic floor disorders.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices in pelvic floor therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess pelvic floor function and identify specific needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
- Educate patients on pelvic health, including lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and share insights on patient progress.
