Precision Physical Therapy & Fitness is seeking a vestibular Physical Therapist to join our team in Santa Cruz, California. We serve a diverse patient population and bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants are encouraged to apply. Vestibular PTs will primarily treat patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions, such as an elevated fall risk or balance concern.
About the Role:
As a Vestibular Physical Therapist at Precision Physical Therapy & Fitness, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with vestibular disorders, helping them regain balance and improve their quality of life. Your expertise will be essential in developing personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal outcomes. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient's health are considered. Additionally, you will educate patients and their families about vestibular conditions and the importance of adherence to therapy. Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
- Completion of specialized training in vestibular rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with vestibular disorders to determine their specific needs and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about vestibular disorders, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms.
