ESTIMATOR
Location: Eau Claire, WI

Job Summary:
Position is responsible for compiling estimates involving assessing material, labor, and resources required for a project. Ideal candidate possesses a strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to produce results under tight deadlines.
Essential Functions:
- Review proposal specifications/drawings and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
- Review design options and recommend best solutions based on cost, engineering, schedule, and/or availability of materials.
- Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work.
- Manage RFP process for necessary vendors and/or subcontractors.
- Produce RFP deliverables (execution plans, schedules, rate sheets, etc.).
- Maintain files of working documents as back-ups for estimate figures. Follow awarded contracts as assigned, including estimating extra work items, change orders, credits; procuring material, etc.
- Maintain/analyze historical project trends.
- Assist in the transition of awarded projects to execution team.
- Additional duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong Microsoft suite skills.
- Experience with Hard Dollar, B2W, Heavy Bid and/or other estimating software a plus.
- Experience with Primavera, TILOS, and/or other scheduling software a plus.
- Strong spelling, composition, and grammar skills.
- Critical thinking, time management, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Understanding of Union agreements.
- 25-35% travel, often upon short notice.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in the gas facilities, meter, city gate and compressor stations field.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
