IT MANAGER

Contract role with our client located west of Pittsburgh, PA.

Work Environment: Onsite

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking IT Manager to lead our technology initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who can assess, document, and enhance existing IT processes while ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems. The ideal candidate will have strong cybersecurity knowledge, experience in IT process optimization, and the ability to align technology with business goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute IT strategies that support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
• Analyze, document, and improve existing IT processes, ensuring scalability and security.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and business-critical applications.
• Strengthen cybersecurity frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and mitigating risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology solutions that improve productivity and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
• Manage IT vendors and service providers to optimize technology investments.
• Lead IT-related projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Provide guidance and support for IT staff and end-users, fostering a technology-driven culture.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, data protection laws, and industry standards.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• 5-7 years of IT management experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of IT process documentation and improvement.
• Expertise in cybersecurity best practices, risk mitigation, and compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems, networking, cloud solutions, and IT infrastructure.
• Ability to strategically align IT initiatives with business goals.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
